Toddler Classrooms

The toddler program at Creative Beginnings is designed to educate our one-year-old learners through engaging and creative play. In the toddler room, children will learn primary colors, basic shapes, count to ten, and spell and recognize their first name. As children progress through the toddler program, they will begin learning independent skills such as dressing themselves, cleaning up after play, mealtime, and naptime.

Colline Kopacz

Colline has been part of the Creative Beginnings team since November of 2023. She attended the University of Maine at Machias where she studied Inclusive Early Childhood. Colline’s attention to detail, kindness, and creativity has been an amazing addition to the toddler team!

Megan Barnes

Megan joined our team in June of 2022. She attended Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire where she studied art education. She previously worked as a teaching assistant at a charter school in New Hampshire. Megan has a passion for creativity and loves to try new projects with our young learners.

Celia Brown — South Portland, ME — Creative Beginnings Childcare Center

Gabrielle Krutuleski

Gabby joined the Creative Beginnings team in September 2019. She graduated from Southern Maine Community College with her degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018. Gabby has worked with a wide range of ages but has found her home with the toddlers. Her enthusiasm for early education shines in the lessons, activities, and themes she plans. We are so lucky to have Gabby with us.

Meghan Riley — South Portland, ME — Creative Beginnings Childcare Center

Angela Andrade

Angela started at Creative Beginnings in May of 2020. She attended Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield, ME, where she received her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and speech and language pathology in 1995. She has over 20 years of experience working with young children. Angela has an enthusiastic teaching style that the children love. She is kindhearted and easy to talk to! The children in the toddler program are fortunate to have Miss Angela, as are we!

Toddler Room 3

Heather Tibbs

Heather has been with us since July of 2024. She graduated from Modesto Junior College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has experience working with children of all learning abilities. Heather’s calm, patient, and loving demeanor makes her perfect for our toddler program.
